Bay leaf oil is commonly used as a treatment for neuralgia, fever, sedation, rheumatism, muscle pain, circulatory problems, colds, flu, tooth infections, diarrhea and skin infections. It is also an antiseptic, antibiotic, analgesic, Astringent, meridian, insecticide. Laurel is an evergreen tree, about 7.5 to 9 meters high, with thick and smooth leaves, light yellow flowers, and black berries each year. It grows mostly in western India and Venezuela.

Suitable essential oils are Cedar Cedar, Coriander, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Ginger, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Orange, Rose, Rosemary, Thyme and Ylang Ylang. They are highly volatile essential oils.

Contraindications: Laurel essential oil contains a high amount of eugenol, which will irritate the skin and mucous membranes. It is necessary to control the dosage and use it carefully. Avoid during pregnancy.
