Is homemade hydrosol reliable?
The family or small workshop uses small distillation equipment to make DIY self-made dew. From the perspective of the process, the theory is the same, that is, high temperature causes the liquid inside the container with flowers to volatilize, and the condensate becomes pure dew when it cools down. But after all, most of them do not have strict disinfection conditions and production processes, and the purity and quality of hydrosols cannot be guaranteed.

Professional hydrosol manufacturers are equipped with expensive equipment, with regular production technology, under the conditions of ensuring sufficient temperature, pressure, and time, they can combine more than 500 components in flowers including esters, aldehydes, acids, vinegars, alcohols, olefins, etc. Ether is separated to produce qualified essential oil and saturated dew. However, the small equipment used in DIY self-made hydrosol cannot reach the temperature and pressure, most of these ingredients cannot be collected, and the effect of hydrosol will be greatly reduced.

In addition, because plant juices, cells and fibers themselves are prone to mildew, oxidation, acidity, precipitation and flocculation, etc., coupled with the lack of qualified disinfection equipment, DIY self-made hydrosols are prone to deterioration.
